Left Tackle: Brandon Baldwin

Last but not least is left tackle, arguably the most important position on an offensive line. And the person I’m predicting will start at that position is Brandon Baldwin, the player with the most experience at Michigan State.

Baldwin is entering his senior season at MSU that will be his third with the Spartans. He began his career at the JUCO level where 247Sports ranked him as one of the top JUCO tackles in the country.

From there he transferred to Michigan State where he first saw the field in the 2022 season. Over the past two seasons, Baldwin has played in 19 games including 15 starts. This includes five starts in 2022 and 10 starts in 2023. Last year Baldwin did miss two games to injury, so every game he was healthy enough to play in he drew the start.

All 15 of his Michigan State starts have been at left tackle, so I think he will remain there heading into this season. His overall experience in college and total experience at Michigan State will do wonders for this line and will likely put him in a leadership role both in the offensive line room and team as a whole.
