Game 9: Michigan State vs. Indiana

I think it’s safe to say this game will be a breath of fresh air. Actually, the last four games will be. For as difficult as the previous four were, the next four are all winnable, starting with Indiana.

The Hoosiers are predicted to miss a bowl game this year once again, similarly to MSU, but I think the Spartans will prove Vegas wrong and make a bowl. I don’t think Indiana will.

So by this point in the season, it will be quite clear that Michigan State is the better team, and the spread at home will show that.

Make it Michigan State -6.5

Game 10: Michigan State at Illinois

Illinois is another team projected to miss a bowl game as their win total is set at 5.5 for this season. While I do think Illinois will hit the over and win six games this season, I don’t think they’ll beat Michigan State.

But the spread in this one will be about as close as it can possibly be. I think Michigan State would be a field goal favorite at home, but it will go down because this is a road game.
