Game 7: Michigan State vs. Iowa

You know a four-game stretch is insane when Iowa is by far the easiest opponent. Thankfully for Michigan State, it gets the Hawkeyes at home making this a winnable game.

In 2023, Michigan State arguably should have beat Iowa on the road with a worse roster. So now that MSU has a better team and no off the field distractions going on, I think they will be able to steal a win here.

But this post isn’t about who will win, it’s about what the spread will be, and I think Iowa will be the small favorite.

Make it Michigan State +2.5

Game 8: Michigan State at Michigan

The next game on the schedule (and thankfully the last one in this grueling stretch) is the biggest game of the year.

Michigan.

This is the second game that Vegas has already released a line for, and they favor the Wolverines by 20.

I personally think Michigan State is too much of an underdog here because I don’t have faith in Michigan’s offense. The Wolverine defense will be elite, but I think MSU will be able to keep the Wolverine’s offense in check more than in previous years.

So I personally would set this line closer to Michigan State +16.
