Game 5: Michigan State vs. Ohio State

Hopefully Michigan State gets off to a solid start in their first four games, because the next four might be the toughest stretch I’ve ever seen the Spartans have in my life.

It begins with a home date against Ohio State. The Buckeyes are one of the favorites to not only win the Big Ten, but win a national championship. OSU might also have the best roster on paper in the country this year as well.

Can Michigan State win this game? No chance. And I think the spread in this game will reflect that.

Even if Michigan State gets off to a 4-0 start, that won’t be enough to impress Vegas. So I think this spread will heavily favor the Buckeyes.

Game 6: Michigan State at Oregon

If a home game against Ohio State wasn’t hard enough, a road game at Oregon may be even more difficult.

The Ducks also have national championship expectations this season, and rightfully so. This game is likely another automatic loss on the schedule, and I think the spread will be worse than the Ohio State game since this one is on the road.
