Projecting defensive starters for Michigan State football in 2024
Defensive End 1: Khris Bogle
Khris Bogle is a name Spartan fans should be familiar with as he is gearing up to begin his third and final season at Michigan State. The former Florida transfer only played in four games in 2022 because of an injury, but 2023 was a much better season for him.
Last season Bogle played in 10 games and earned a solid five starts as well. He accounted for 14 tackles last season including two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. Bogle has an additional seven starts to his name as well as 35 total appearances dating back to his time at Florida.
Now I know these numbers aren’t super impressive, but I think a lot of it has to do with the lack of playing time he saw last season. But all the departing pieces from the roster should clear up some more playing time for Bogle, and I think he’s more than ready to take on the starting role full time this year.
