Predicting the final score of Michigan State football's next 5 games

Michigan State may surprise a lot of people these next five games.

2. Ohio State

Michigan State's Week 5 opponent is the Ohio State Buckeyes who are currently the No. 3 team in the country. Ohio State will enter this week five matchup with a 3-0 record as they have another easy game against Marshall at home this week.

That is the thing, however, that gives me a little hope in this game.

Ohio State is extremely good on paper, one of the best teams in the country, but we won't know how good they actually are until this game. The Buckeyes three games before MSU are all in Columbus against Group of Five opponents, so you can't really judge a team too much off of that. So I'm interested to see how they handle a hostile environment on the road against a Michigan State team that has proven they can hang this season.

However, I still don't think Michigan State will be ready to defeat a team as good as Ohio State. I do think they will keep it much closer than most think, something I wish we could say about last year, but I see the Buckeyes pulling away late in this one.

Prediction: Ohio State wins 45-27
