Predicting the final score of every 2024 Michigan State football game

8. at Michigan

The final game in this difficult stretch is the biggest game of the year.

Michigan.

While on the surface it seems like Michigan State stands no chance in this game, this rivalry has given us some wild moments and crazy upsets along the way. So anything is possible when these two teams take the field.

But I unfortunately don’t see it going Michigan State’s way this season. I think the Wolverine’s offense will be significantly worse this year, so that will cause the game to be a lot closer than most expect. But Michigan’s defense is too good for the Spartans' offense right now and MSU will once again struggle mightily to move the ball.

If the game were at Spartan Stadium I’d give MSU a punchers chance, even with the embarrassment that was last season. So maybe MSU will be able to get the win next year, but I unfortunately just don’t see a way it happens this year.

Prediction: Michigan wins 27-10

Record: 4-4, 1-4
