Saturday night's Michigan State vs. Ohio State game may not be at the top of everyone's watch list of "must-see" games, but the Spartans are looking to make a statement.

Obviously no one is predicting a Spartan win over the Buckeyes on Saturday, but even a close win would make fans feel better about the direction of the program. Michigan State hasn't kept the final score within 20 points since a one-point loss to the Buckeyes in 2016.

The fashion in which these Michigan State vs. Ohio State games usually go is not ideal but fans are hoping Jonathan Smith changes that in a hurry.
