Michigan State football is gearing up for its biggest game of the 2024 season thus far, but it's not going to be an easy matchup without a couple of their biggest offensive weapons available.

News broke on Friday night that the Spartans could be without Nick Marsh and Jaron Glover and it was confirmed by 247Sports' Justin Thind. It was a tough blow to a team that had already suffered a number of major injuries.

Michigan State will be shorthanded on the offensive line, in the defensive backfield, and now in the receiving corps as it heads out east to face a tough Boston College team.

Let's take a look at the complete injury report for both teams.

Michigan State

DOUBTFUL: WR Nick Marsh (knee), WR Jaron Glover (undisclosed)
OUT: CB Chance Rucker (undisclosed), DL Avery Dunn (undisclosed), OL Kristian Phillips (leg), DB Khalil Majeed (lower body), DB Dillon Tatum (lower body), WR Alante Brown (upper body), OL Gavin Broscious (leg)

Boston College

QUESTIONABLE: QB Grayson James (undisclosed)
OUT: RB Alex Broome (knee)

As you can see, Michigan State has been bitten hard by the injury bug so far this season. It's no secret that this has been a trend for the Spartans over the past few years and it doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon. The Spartans seem to always have poor injury luck.

It's been a tough season, injury-wise, but losing Marsh and Glover really hurts. Let's hope someone else can step up in their absence.
