Michigan State football vs. Georgia Tech
Overall Record: 0-2

Las Meeting: 1985
Another program that used to be a college football power is Georgia Tech. In 1971, the No. 18 Spartans lost to the Yellowjackets 10-0 in Atlanta in week two. That was the first of four losses in five games including defeats to No. 4 Notre Dame and No. 2 Michigan.
That year, Michigan State would go just 6-5 overall. That season included no bowl appearance.
In 1985, MSU would get to a bowl game playing Georgia Tech in the Hall of Fame Classic in Birmingham, Alabama. That 17-14 loss ended a 7-5 season that saw MSU also drop games to Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan, and Illinois.
