2. Rebounding needs a ton of work

Michigan State was getting pounded on the glass from the get-go and it was obvious that Maryland was just the more aggressive team in that regard which remained the theme throughout.

Maryland was leading the battle of the boards throughout the game and ended up with a ridiculous 37-22 advantage for the Terrapins. That's just not going to cut it in the Big Ten, especially on the road, against good teams. That's not necessarily a knock on Maryland as it's been one of the most improved teams in the conference throughout the season, but this won't fly against the likes of Purdue, Illinois, or Wisconsin.

We need to see more aggressiveness from the post players like Mady Sissoko and Carson Cooper who combined for just nine rebounds while Julian Reese of Maryland had 12 of his own.

Maryland had nine offensive rebounds alone. Unacceptable.
