Michigan State basketball takes the court again today, folks, and it looks like the Spartans need this win to avoid an even further early-season spiral.

Facing the No. 6 team in the country presents both an incredibly tough test as well as a sparkling opportunity. This isn't going to be an easy win, by any means, but the Spartans could take down the Bears and get back on track with their best win of the season.

Michigan State sits at 4-5 heading into this one while Baylor is a perfect 9-0.

Let's get bold.

3. Malik Hall double-double

I know this sounds crazy given the fact that Malik Hall has been slightly inconsistent this year, but I can see him having one of his better games as a Spartan, putting up a double-double for the first time this season.

I will say, Malik has been one of the better starters for the Spartans this season, he just needs to string a couple of strong performances together. That could start on Saturday.

Hall was decent against Nebraska and he's going to build on that against Baylor because, well, Michigan State needs him to step up and be a leader. He needs to play at an elite level if the Spartans are going to pull off this upset -- or even have a shot.

I'm going to say Hall ends up with 13 points and 10 boards to finish the game.
