Michigan State basketball: 3 bold predictions for rematch with No. 10 Illinois
2. Tyson Walker scores 25
I made this prediction for the Minnesota game, but I truly believe we're going to see a Tyson Walker masterclass on Saturday afternoon.
Walker may be dealing with a groin injury, but Tom Izzo gave him some time to heal up with a limited practice on Thursday. This should get him closer to 100 percent after nearly suffering a massive injury on Tuesday evening at Minnesota. While he may not be 100 percent, he's going to have himself a legacy game on Saturday afternoon.
The senior guard has had a career game against Illinois before but it ended in a crushing loss despite him having a monster performance. I think he has a similar performance on Saturday.
Walker is going to hit the 25-point mark for the first time since Feb. 7 which should be enough for the Spartans to overcome the No. 10 team in the country, right?
He'll finish with 26 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals on 10-of-19 shooting. Walker will hit a few big threes as well.
