Michigan State basketball is fresh off two straight wins and now the Spartans are heading back on the road to face Maryland and then Wisconsin on Sunday and then Friday, respectively.

Sunday's game at Maryland will be important because it's a winnable game for the Spartans but they need to show up and avoid the dreaded slow start. If they can get off to a quick start in College Park on Sunday afternoon, we should see this team play a complete game.

In fact, Michigan State is the best team in college basketball when it has a lead.

So let's dive into some bold predictions for Sunday's big game.

3. Malik Hall has another double-double

Malik Hall is in the middle of one of his best stretches as a Spartan. He's averaging over 14 points per game over the past six and it feels like he's gaining confidence with each game -- we are going to just forget that Northwestern performance ever happened.

After putting up 16 points and 12 rebounds against Minnesota, Hall is going to take it one step further and put up a double-double on the road to make up for that Northwestern performance (yes, the one that never happened).

Hall is going to be the calming veteran presence on the court for the Spartans on Sunday as they face one of their stiffest tests in conference play and he'll score 15 with 11 rebounds.

On top of that, he's going to hit a massive 3-pointer in the second half to give Michigan State a lead.
