Michigan State basketball fans have been quenching their thirst over the past few weeks with Moneyball taking place out in Lansing.

The Spartans have been all hitting the court to take part in the annual Pro-Am and some guys have been starring (Jaxon Kohler, Frankie Fidler) while others have been trying to take it easy to avoid injuries. Either way, all the Spartans have participated and each one has shown flashes of potential.

One of the newest Spartans who has really showcased his ability to score in every way is Jase Richardson, a freshman and the son of Michigan State legend Jason Richardson.

It feels like Richardson is going to be an immediate contributor because of his ability to both shoot and finish strong at the rim like his dad.

Jase has a lot of similarities with his dad.

But apparently his dad isn't his favorite Michigan State basketball player of all time. No, that distinction would go to Cassius Winston.

While the question did say "besides your dad" when asking who Jase's favorite Spartan ever was, he did make it sound like Cassius would have been his answer regardless. He said "actually" Cassius is No. 1 and his dad would be two. That's not the most shocking answer, but it's kind of funny to hear that he would pick Cassius over his dad who was a Spartan legend and an NBA great.

It's clear that Jase has a great personality and his play on the court is fun to watch, too. He's going to be a fan favorite for the next couple of years, or more.

Let's hope he sees the court plenty as a true freshman.
