The final domino has officially fallen when it comes to transfer Frankie Fidler and his commitment to Michigan State. Earlier this offseason, Fidler committed to Michigan State over Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Creighton to the delight of all Spartan fans. However, his commitment wasn't 100 percent officially until Tuesday morning.

Most of you might not have released that Fidler even had his name in the 2024 NBA Draft. That's likely due to Fidler himself saying that he was always planning to withdraw his name and was only going through the process to learn from NBA scouts what he needs to improve on so he can hopefully make the league in the future.

But even though this was always the plan, there was always the slim chance he kept his name in the draft. If just one NBA team promised Fidler that they would draft him that could've been enough for Fidler to change his mind and stay in the draft. But thankfully for MSU fans, that did not occur. He officially withdrew his name and will be playing at Michigan State next season.

Now all we have to do is eagerly await for the first time we get to see Fidler play. Fidler averaged 20.1 points per game last season with Nebraska Omaha, so expectations for him are high in East Lansing. But even if MSU gets 14-15 points per game from Fidler then that would be a massive win in my book.

In an offseason when we didn't know what Tom Izzo was going to do, he surprised us all and went out and got one of the best transfers in the country. Now he has to get to work and put all the pieces together so Michigan State can get back to their rightful spot at the top of the Big Ten.
