Games 9-12

Game 9: Indiana
Game 10: at Illinois
Game 11: Purdue
Game 12: Rutgers

For all the difficulties the middle four games present Michigan State, the final four games are the exact opposite. These four games set the Spartans up nicely to finish the season strong and make a push for a bowl game.

Beginning first with the three home games, I once again think Michigan State stands a very good chance to run the table. All three of these teams will be at the Spartans' level or slightly below, so I think Michigan State, with its home crowd behind it, will be able to get three wins.

I also think at this point in the season, the team will finally know how to play well together. So the expectation should be to win these three games and I think Michigan State will.

The last game to talk about is a road game at Illinois. While this game is also very winnable, and I'd even go as far as saying that Michigan State might be the better team, I unfortunately think they will lay an egg here. Only the best teams in the country are able to win every game they "should win" but I just don't think MSU's at that level yet. So mark this as the Spartan's fifth loss for now.

Record: 7-5
