2. Outback Bowl vs. Georgia (2011)

After a soul-crushing loss to Wisconsin the 2011 Big Ten Championship Game, it looked like the hangover carried over to the Spartans bowl game against Georgia. The offense was stagnant and while the defense held their own for most of the first half, Darqueze Dennard got burned for a big gain towards the end of the first quarter.

The Spartans found themselves down 16 at halftime after a completely uninspiring performance. The offense woes continued as the first drive of the second half resulted in a punt. But the next drive, Dennard intercepted an Aaron Murray pass and gave the Spartans the ball on the Georgia 48-yard-line.

The Spartans would go on to score their first points on that drive. Two drives later, Dennard would get his second interception, only this time he took it to the endzone to cut the Bulldogs' lead to just two.

From there, the Spartans rallied winning the game in a three-overtime thriller, with Dennard producing the spark that the Spartans needed.
