All-time Michigan State football offensive starters from Mark Dantonio era
Left Guard: Brian Allen
Next up is left guard and again, I don’t think there’s room for much debate here either.
Brian Allen played alongside Conklin on the Spartans' offensive line for a couple seasons as he was in East Lansing from 2014-2017. Allen never was an All-Big Ten first team selection, but he was named to the conference’s second team for three straight seasons.
Allen made a whopping 51 appearances throughout his career, which included 38 starts all throughout the interior of the offense line.
Allen was drafted in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. He has spent his entire career with the Rams so far which includes winning the 2023 Super Bowl.
A college career really doesn’t get much better than Allen’s, but he still wasn’t even the best lineman the Spartans had during the Mark Dantonio era. That just goes to show once again how dominant his team’s were throughout the years.
