Wide Receiver 1: B.J. Cunningham

Wide receiver might be the deepest position on offense Michigan State had during the Dantonio era, so thankfully we have three selections to make at this position.

First up has to be the Michigan State all time receiving yards leader, B.J. Cunningham.

Cunningham roamed the sidelines of Spartan Stadium from 2008-2011 and had one of the best careers in Michigan State history. He was a second team All-Big Ten selection after his senior season when he tallied over 1,300 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.

Not only is Cunningham Michigan State’s all time receiving yards leader with 3,086 yards, he also leads all MSU receivers with 218 career receptions. He also has the second best single season reception total in program history with 79 catches in 2011 as well as the third best single season receiving yards season with 1,306 in the same season.

Like I said, there’s so many guys you could select at wide receiver on this list, but Cunningham absolutely needs to be one of the three selections for everyone.
