All-time Michigan State football offensive starters from Mark Dantonio era
Center: Jack Allen
For my center I have to keep it in the family and select Jack Allen. Again, Allen’s career was one of the best of all time so there really is no debate for this selection.
Allen began his career in 2011 when he redshirted for a season, but once the 2012 season came around his career took off immediately. Allen was a four year starter, making a total of 47 starts which is second most in program history.
Allen also is a two time first team All American in 2014 and 2015, which is only the third time that had ever been done in program history by an offensive lineman.
Even though Allen somehow went undrafted in the NFL and only played for two seasons in the league, there’s no denying that the career he had at Michigan State was special.
Football games are won in the trenches, so it’s no surprise that the three offensive line selections so far are from the best seasons under Dantonio. And I would stack this trip up with any in college football history, that’s how good they were.
