As the third and final interception of the game left the fingertips of Aidan Chiles and landed in the waiting arms of a Boston College defender in the end zone, fans immediately took to social media to blame the young quarterback for his slew of mistakes.

I'll be the first to admit, I said on Twitter that Chiles' performance was baffling. He can look so good at times and then at other moments, he looks like he's never read a defense before.

The Chiles experience so far has been a roller-coaster.

The 19-year-old quarterback is going to be just fine, however. He has made his fair share of mistakes (seven interceptions through four games) but he's still learning how to be a starter at the collegiate level and growing pains are to be expected. A year ago, he was a backup to a veteran quarterback for 13 games and now he's starting at a major Power Four program, spearheading a rebuild.

And yet Chiles was still voted team captain and his teammates seem to love him. His leadership has been impressive and his talent is obvious, but the consistency has been lacking.

Still, one expert believes that he's good enough to be a top-10 NFL draft quarterback prospect in the country, regardless of class.

This ranking came out before his Boston College performance, but I'd be willing to bet Clint Brewster stands by this because Chiles showed some elite dual-threat ability and throwing 35 times in a monsoon is not on him -- the coaching staff should've had a better game plan.

Sure, some of his interceptions have been baffling, but he'll correct those. He's still learning the offense and how to be a major team's QB1. He'll be fine.

But it's good to see that experts are high on the Spartan quarterback.
