The 2024 NFL Draft is officially in the books and only one Michigan State football player heard his name called as Nick Samac went in the seventh round to the Baltimore Ravens.

But just because Samac was the only drafted Spartan doesn't mean that others didn't find new homes. There were minicamp invites extended and undrafted free agents signed following the draft and a handful of Michigan State football players have found new homes.

The most prominent undrafted Spartan was Jacoby Windmon and the linebacker and edge rusher was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers shortly after the draft. He was once a top draft prospect on the roster but he hit a wall over his final season and a half after his tunnel incident suspension.

After Windmon, Tre Mosley was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. These two could be rivals at the next level if they both make their respective 53-man rosters. Mosley had a quiet final season in East Lansing, but he was a sure-handed target for years.

Harold Joiner, too, found a new home as he earned a minicamp invite from the Indianapolis Colts. He bounced around on both sides of the ball and he's just an incredible athlete who could find a spot on a roster somewhere with the right coaching.

Aaron Brule came to Michigan State with high hopes and showed plenty of flashes but never really broke out as the star that we all expected. He's headed to the Saints with a minicamp invite.

And finally, Jalen Sami transferred to Michigan State before the 2023 season and also had high hopes but had a quiet year and didn't really live up to the hype. He's headed to Miami with a minicamp invite from the Dolphins.

Hopefully we see more drafted and signed Spartans next year.
