5 things I hope to see during Michigan State football’s fall camp
3. Does Nick Marsh live up to the hype?
It’s been awhile since I’ve been this excited about a true freshman, but wide receiver Nick Marsh deserves the hype.
The incoming freshman is the top ranked commit in the Spartan’s 2024 recruiting class at No. 107 in the country. And so far Marsh has lived up to the hype during spring and summer workouts.
Countless teammates and coaches have sung his praises this offseason, and Marsh was even listed as the top breakout candidate for Michigan State this fall as well. I’m even joining in on the hype by projecting Marsh as a starter this season.
All this hype from teammates and the media is great, but once Marsh puts his pads on it no longer means anything. So I hope to see Marsh do extremely well during fall camp and earn one of the three starting wide receiver spots.
Pairing Marsh with veteran Montorie Foster Jr. could be a deadly combo. And when you have an elite arm talent like Chile at quarterback the sky is the limit for them both.
