2. Who on the current roster will return?

Going along with the first question, Michigan State fans also have to wonder who on the roster will decide to stay in East Lansing and who will enter the transfer portal themseleves and look for another opportunity elsewhere.

One piece of that puzzle was answered last Thursday when Mady Sissoko decided to enter the portal, but there are still others who have not decided.

AJ Hoggard is someone who could return for a fifth season, but the consensus is that he likely will not. Even Jaden Akins is someone to monitor as well. I personally don't see Akins transferring, but he did test the NBA waters last offseason so maybe he decides to do that again.

You also can never be 100 percent confident that any one player will return in today's day and age. Every day new players enter the transfer portal, and a lot of them surprise many people. So can we really say we know for sure that there isn't someone on MSU's team that's leaning towards entering the portal but hasn't officially done so yet? Until the final day passes for players to enter the portal, we can never be 100 percent confident who will be on the team next year.
