1. Aidan Chiles, QB

Aidan Chiles is probably the least surprising pick here, but should we think it would be anyone else? I mean, he's the brand-new starting quarterback for a new program and he was a former top-100 recruit back in the 2023 class. The expectations for Chiles are through the roof and it has a lot to do with his potential as a dual-threat and his comfortability with the new staff (not new to him).

Chiles followed Jonathan Smith to East Lansing and even said that he was shocked when he got here because the stadium and the facilities were better than what he was used to.

Michigan State fans got a glimpse of the young star quarterback during the Spring Showcase as he was running with the ball as well as making accurate throws into tight spaces. He didn't give away too much, but he had the look of a budding superstar and I don't think you'd find a single Michigan State fan or even national media member that would disagree that he's the Spartans' top breakout candidate.

And if Chiles does have a breakout season like we all expect, we should see the Spartans head to a bowl game for the first time since Kenneth Walker III was leading the way in 2021.
