2. Nick Marsh, WR

This was such an easy choice for my second breakout candidate and it's because Nick Marsh has a chance to be something truly special in East Lansing. We saw glimpses of what he's capable of during the spring game and that feels like just the tip of the iceberg. He had over 100 receiving yards during the scrimmage and made it look rather easy.

Oh yeah, and he's a true freshman.

Jonathan Smith getting Marsh to remain in the 2024 class was massive. He's the crown jewel of Michigan State's incoming class and he's joining a position group that needs a lot of help with players like Jayden Reed, Keon Coleman, Jalen Nailor, Germie Bernard, and Tre Mosley departing over the past few years.

Marsh could legitimately come in and contend for the WR1 duties with guys like Montorie Foster Jr. and Jaron Glover and it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
