3. Kur Teng has best game by far

Incoming freshman Kur Teng has finally announced his arrival.

So far at Moneyball, Teng has been a very solid, consistent player. The one drawback though was he never had an extremely impressive game yet where he exploded for a lot of points. Before Thursday night’s game, his Moneyball high was just 22 points. A solid total don’t get me wrong, but nothing spectacular for Moneyball standards.

However, during Thursday’s game Teng went off for 33 points which included three 3-pointers.

Michigan State won’t need Teng to be a high volume scorer this season, he likely won’t receive enough minutes to do so. But what they do need from his is to be an elite 3-point shooter.

Teng is one of the best shooters in the 2024 class, so hopefully he’ll be able to showcase that this season in East Lansing. Like I said, Teng might not play very much this year, but if he can make a couple threes here and there in the 5-7 minutes he’s likely to get, then that would be a successful freshman campaign for Teng.
