3. All four QBs see playing time

One thing we can expect to see on Saturday is a lot of playing time for Michigan State’s backups, but how much playing time will they actually receive? In order for the backups to get a lot of playing time the starters and regular players need to jump out to a big lead in a hurry. They should have no problems in accomplishing that, but can they do it quick enough to allow every quarterback on the roster to get some snaps?

Aidan Chiles is the only quarterback to play so far this season, and MSU will have major issues if that’s the case again on Saturday. I think backup Tommy Schuster will easily see a lot of minutes likely beginning sometime in the third quarter, but I also think Michigan State’s two freshman quarterbacks will get in as well.

Alessio Milivojevic and Ryland Jessee are the two true freshman quarterbacks on Michigan State’s roster. Nothing is expected from this season, but I do still hope they get even just a little experience this season. And the best chance for them to do so is this Saturday.

It’s going to be difficult, and very unlikely, for them both to see the field in this game even with it likely turning into a blowout, but I predict that all four quarterbacks will get at least one snap on Saturday.
