2. Michigan State covers easily

Am I surprised that Ohio State are heavy favorites in this game? Absolutely not. But how much they are favored by seems way too high to me.

So far I’ve seen the spread hovering in the mid-20s in the Buckeyes favor. Sure it’s possible for OSU to win by that much, but I personally don’t see that happening.

Michigan State has been the underdog twice already this season at Maryland and Boston College, and in those two games the Spartans beat the Terps and arguably should have beaten the Eagles. So when Vegas is against MSU the Spartans have proven them wrong twice so far this year.

Now while I’m not predicting a win from Michigan State I do think MSU will cover easily. Especially when you consider that the weather is going to be bad with a lot of rain that just sets up for a low-scoring game that favors the underdog.

So I predict that Michigan State will lose this game but only by about 12-15 points which is much less than the current spread.
