2. MSU shoots over 50 percent from deep

This one might be the boldest prediction that I've made in months. It doesn't seem that bold, but when you consider how cold the Spartans have been from deep in recent weeks as well as the fact that Mississippi State has one of the best 3-point defenses in the country, it feels like an almost impossible task.

Michigan State is one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the Big Ten and the Spartans rank in the top-65 nationally. When they're hot, they can bury teams from distance, but the only problem is that they don't take as many as they should.

Mississippi State, on the other hand, shuts down the perimeter game in and game out. The Bulldogs just don't let teams beat them from 3-point land.

Well, the Spartans will change that on Thursday.

Tom Izzo will make sure his team stays aggressive and gets shots up from deep early and often and we'll see some of the best ball movement of the season to make sure this happens. The Spartans will also finish the game with over 50 percent shooting from deep. I'm going with 10 makes on 19 attempts.
