1. Michigan State wins on clutch free throws

This is going to be one of those back-and-forth affairs in which neither team really feels comfortable all game long. The Hoosiers and Spartans will be trading scores and changing leads all game and it'll end up being a down-to-the-wire finish.

Fitting as no win has come easy lately for Michigan State basketball.

The Spartans will hold a two-point lead late in the game before Kel'el Ware hits a clutch and-one in the final minute to take a lead. The Spartans respond with an AJ Hoggard drive to the basket through contact for a tough layup. With a chance to regain the lead late, Indiana misses a big three and Michigan State rebounds. Malik Hall hits a couple of clutch free throws for the three-point lead.

Indiana gets a bucket on the other end before sending Tyson Walker to the line and he redeems himself with two clutch free throws.

The Hoosiers miss on the other end and Hoggard closes the game with two more makes from the charity stripe to extend the lead to five with just seconds left. This 6-for-6 shooting from the line in the final minute will shock Spartan fans, but not a soul will complain.

Maybe improvement is actually happening at the right time.

Michigan State wins 70-65.
