It feels like it's been three years since Michigan State last took the field against Rutgers in the 2024 season finale, getting demolished at home despite playing for a bowl berth.
Sadly, it's only been two months. But that just means spring ball is on the horizon, especially after the now-less-impactful February National Signing Day is officially in the books. Michigan State's roster is essentially set for the 2025 season, barring spring transfers, and one player stood out last season and will continue to be a star this year: Nick Marsh.
The first-year wideout broke some freshman receiving records and was a bright spot in an otherwise dull season for the Spartans.
But apparently, he has barely scratched the surface, according to him.
In fact, the soon-to-be sophomore receiver called him mom this week and told her that the 2025 season is going to be "different" and that "I'm different, my body and my strength is different" going on to say that something has "unlocked" in him and he's tapped in to another level.

If this doesn't get you excited as a fan for the 2025 season, I don't know what will. Marsh has apparently felt a change in himself that's going to lead to an even better 2025 campaign and if he didn't have something "unlocked" in him as a superstar freshman, it's going to be scary to see what he can do when he's "different" this season.
The connection between Marsh and Aidan Chiles was electric in 2024 and if the star receiver's words come to fruition, the 2025 season could be special.
Don't look now, but Marsh could be talking All-American-type performance this year.
