Nick Marsh rated criminally low in EA Sports College Football 26

Are you a fan of college football and video games? Well, next month's EA Sports College Football 26 video game release date is probably circled on your calendar. Spartan fans are excited to use their favorite players in the new game, especially the best players on the team like Aidan Chiles, Jack Velling, and Nick Marsh.

Sure, Ryan Eckley is probably one of the highest-rated Spartans (and punters) in the game, but fans will hope not to use him as much for obvious reasons.

Ratings are starting to trickle out with the game approaching its release date and it's leading to plenty of debates and disagreements because, well, every fan is going to think that their players deserve higher ratings.

And for Nick Marsh, I think I can speak for almost everyone when I say his rating is far too low.

As you can see, Marsh is just the sixth-highest-rated player on the team and the third-highest-rated receiver. Yes, that's correct, EA Sports rated Marsh the No. 3 receiver on the team and the Spartans' fourth-best pass-catcher. That makes next to no sense.

Yes, there's plenty of excitement surrounding Jack Velling, Chrishon McCray, and Omari Kelly, but calling them better than arguably the best player on the team is a hot take.

If you've played College Football 25, you would know that an 84 rating is good, but not quite the level that Marsh is worth. It constitutes an above-average starter but somewhere in the 85-90 range is star status and Marsh deserves to be just that. He's a star.

Being the third-best receiver on Michigan State in the game is baffling. Expect that to change when the mid-season ratings update happens.
