Mick Cronin absolutely lost his mind after Michigan State steamrolled UCLA

Clearly, the UCLA coach was very unhappy after the blowout loss to Michigan State, and the media took the brunt of it.

After a tough loss to Wisconsin over the weekend, where the Spartans just looked like a different team on the court, Michigan State bounced back in a big way with a huge 82-59 blowout win over UCLA Tuesday night. With the home crowd on their side, the Spartans made life very hard on the Bruins, and it was evident in the way UCLA head coach Mick Cronin acted.

Cronin was so unhappy during the game that he even ejected his own player, Steven Jamerson, down 27 points in the second half. Jamerson, who was once a Michigan State player, fouled Carson Cooper from behind on a dunk attempt, and apparently that was enough for Cronin to send him to the locker room early.

After a 30-point loss to No. 1 Michigan on Saturday and now a 23-point loss to No. 15 Michigan State, Cronin let his emotions show a bit too much when speaking to the media after the game. One reporter asked Cronin about something the Michigan State student section was chanting, and Cronin took his comments a bit too far.

"I could give a rat's ass about the other team's student section," Cronin said. "I would like to give you kudos for the worst question I have ever been asked."

It didn't end there, as the reporter simply made a comment saying that he would take what Cronin said, and the UCLA coach affirmed he would have to take it and kept going. Cronin asked the reporter if he really thought he would care about another team's student section, and when the reporter tried to explain his question, Cronin accused him of raising his voice.

The reporter never raised his voice, as heard in the video above; he was simply trying to respond to what the UCLA coach said. It seemed like Cronin was more focused on embarrassing the reporter than trying to answer the question and move on.

Clearly, the loss had a bigger effect on Cronin than he would probably admit. Known for being a coach who isn't afraid to say anything, Cronin showed that yet again when speaking to the media. It seems like Michigan State is the cause for Cronin's outburst, and fans are going to love every bit of it.
