Saturday's Michigan State vs. Youngstown State game won't exactly be one of the most watched in Week 3, but the Spartans are facing a tough challenge with elite FCS dual-threat Beau Brungard coming to town averaging 204 yards per game on the ground.

Michigan State still has to bring its A-game to face Youngstown State, because this is one of those important tune-up games before Big Ten play begins.

The Spartans are 2-0, coming off an emotional double-overtime win over Boston College, while Youngstown State is also 2-0 with a couple of wins over fellow FCS opponents.

The spread for Saturday's game isn't outlandish, by any means, and it's actually an intriguing one if you're looking to bet on the Spartans. Vegas believes Michigan State wins comfortably, but maybe not as comfortably as you'd think against an FCS opponent.

What are the final odds heading into Saturday's showdown?

Spread: Michigan State -23.5
Over/Under: 54.5
Moneyline: Michigan State -2100 | Youngstown State +1100

Honestly, this is a fair line. Youngstown State isn't exactly an FCS pushover, but it should be a comfortable win for the Spartans regardless of how good the Penguins' quarterback is at running the ball. They're going to give the Spartans a test, but I think Michigan State flirts with the spread.

Aidan Chiles is going to have about 300 total yards of offense and four more touchdowns, and Makhi Frazier will rush for over 100 yards as the two celebrate their birthdays a day late with big performances in a win. Michigan State cruises after a fast start has the Spartans up 24-7 at half.

Final score: Youngstown State 13, Michigan State 41
