In case you forgot or if football has clouded your mind, there's a big hoops game on Tuesday night. While it's just exhibition, the Michigan State vs UConn game will be drawing plenty of national attention on Tuesday as two ranked teams go at it in preseason play.
The Spartans are sitting at No. 22 in the preseason poll while the Huskies come in at No. 4 and look like legit national title favorites. This game should be interesting.
Tom Izzo and the Spartans decided to load the non-conference schedule this season, including exhibition play, and they'll look to bounce back from a sloppy performance against Bowling Green last week. UConn, on the other hand, is feeling good after a dominant win over Boston College last week.
These two teams aren't playing for actual wins and losses (ones that count anyway), but this is a great opportunity to work on some weaknesses before the regular season tips off next week.

I'm not really sure what to expect from Tuesday night's game, but I will say that Michigan State will only improve from this meeting and the Spartans will be ready for the rest of its non-conference gauntlet.
