Friday night’s Michigan State vs. Boston University game will be the talk of college hockey, and it’s going to draw a huge audience as it pins the No. 3 team in the country against the No. 1 team.

The Spartans went 1-1 over the opening weekend, losing the season opener to New Hampshire in heartbreaking fashion. It was a surprising result for the No. 2 team in the country against a team that wasn’t relevant last season. Adam Nightingale couldn’t have been too pleased with the result, but now he has a chance to take down the No. 1 team in the country on the road.

It’s not going to be easy as Boston U is one of the best teams in the country, and the new No. 1 program after Western Michigan lost to Ferris State last season.

There are over 30 NHL Draft picks playing on Friday night which makes this basically an NHL game. This is going to draw the attention of scouts, fans, and just about every hockey enjoyer out there.

Are you looking for a way to watch the big game? We’ve got you covered.

Michigan State has a chance to claim that No. 1 spot with a two-game sweep this weekend, but even a split could earn them a jump to No. 2. Either way, beating the No. 1 team in the country on the road with loads of NHL Draft picks should return the confidence in the locker room — not that it was ever lost.

This will be the biggest college game on Friday night.
