Michigan State will be represented in the Super Bowl this season by two players, Patriots punter Bryce Baringer and Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker. The Seahawks running back had been sharing the backfield with fellow star Zach Charbonnet, who tore his ACL before the NCF Championship game.
Since Charbonnet's injury, Walker has taken over the load of the carries for the Seahawks, proving that the former Michigan State back is a clear force to be reckoned with.
Heading into the big game, Walker is a big feature of this high-flying Seahawks offense. Walker is also heading into this Super Bowl, making history of his own, and joining an elite group of players. This postseason, Walker has been a big feature of Seattle's offense, averaging 125+ scrimmage yards as well as 2+ touchdowns.
Only two other players on Super Bowl teams have achieved that feat, the first being Hall of Famer Terrell Davis back in 1997, and the other being Hall of Famer Jerry Rice in 1988.

Walker's performance in the postseason has been a been key to the Seahawks success, especially in the win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game. Against the Rams, Walker has 62 rushing yards on 19 carries with one touchdown and went 4-for-4 on receptions for 49 receiving yards.
Against the 49ers in the Divisional Round, Walker has 116 rushing yards on 19 carries and three rushing touchdowns. He was perfect in the game as well when it came to catching the ball, going 3-for-3 with 29 receiving yards.
Walker will be a big part of the Seahawks' offense in the Super Bowl, trying to break through that tough Patriots rush defense, which is averaging just 3.1 yards per carry to opposing backs. The Seahawks will have to establish the run to open up the passing game for Sam Darnold if they want to take over the game offensively.
