Well, if you haven't heard about it by now, let us be the first to tell you. In Michigan State's game last night against No. 16 Maryland, Tre Holloman made the game-winning shot to lift the Spartans over the Terrapins.

Now, this wasn't just an ordinary shot; this wasn't a layup, a mid-range, or even a shot just outside the three-point line. Holloman threw up a shot from behind the half-court line that found its way into the net as time expired.

The college basketball world went wild over the shot, both Michigan State fans and just simply college basketball fans alike. One Michigan State fan, or one would say, legend on the court, had a great reaction to Holloman's game-winning shot.

Former Michigan State basketball player Jason Richardson has quite the reaction to Holloman's shot. Richardson knows a thing or two about playing under head coach Tom Izzo as a former player who was a Spartan from 1999 to 2001.

Richardson was born and raised in Michigan and was a Mr. Basketball of Michigan before committing to play for Izzo and the Spartans. When at Michigan State, Richardson, as a freshman, helped the Spartans to a National Championship as a strong reserve on the bench, coming in for aid when needed.

In his sophomore season, Richardson averaged 14.7 points per game and helped to lead Michigan State back to the Final Four, but fell to Arizona before the National Championship. Richardson was selected to the Big Ten First Team for that season.

Richardson's response to Holloman's shot certainly is echoed by the entire Michigan State fanbase, as every fan went crazy over it. This win over No. 16 Maryland marks the Spartan's fourth win in a row and puts them that much closer to a regular season Big Ten title.
