Michigan State hockey vs. Boston College series preview

With all due respect to Lake Superior State, Michigan State hockey faces a test this weekend unlike any it'll probably see most of the year. That’s right, the highly anticipated rematch with Boston College rolls into East Lansing and Spartan fans should take notice. 



Coming off a season in which MSU hockey won a Big Ten title, had a deep NCAA Tournament run, and saw most of the key pieces of that team decide to come back to campus, vibes are at an all-time high.

Boston College will come in featuring what many consider one of the most talented rosters in the country. The Eagles and Spartans faced each other for two games in Boston last season as well. Boston College took both of those games, so the Spartans have revenge on the mind.

This is a matchup that Spartan supporters and really anyone who is a hockey fan should really check out. The talent on the ice is going to be hard to find in any matchup this year. I’m expecting to see some back-and-forth play.
