Ratings for EA Sports' new College Football 26 video game have been trickling out over the past few days and another reveal was made public on Tuesday afternoon with the "toughest places to play".

Despite falling off over the past few seasons, Spartan Stadium made the cut.

In fact, On3 reported the 25 toughest places to play in the new game and Spartan Stadium came in at No. 24, just ahead of Mississippi State's Davis Wade Stadium and right behind Oklahoma State's Boone Pickens Stadium.

Other Big Ten stadiums to make the cut were:

Beaver Stadium (Penn State) -- No. 2
Ohio Stadium (Ohio State) -- No. 3
Autzen Stadium (Oregon) -- No. 9
Michigan Stadium (Michigan) -- No. 10
Camp Randall Stadium (Wisconsin) -- No. 15
Husky Stadium (Washington) -- No. 18
Kinnick Stadium (Iowa) -- No. 19

Honestly, it looks like the Big Ten has one of the toughest road slates in college football with eight of the top 25 toughest places to play in the country.

Seeing Spartan Stadium on the list is a positive development because it just goes to show that even when the Spartans are not at their best, East Lansing is a place where no opposing team wants to travel. Spartan Stadium has had an elite home-field advantage over the years, but since the 2021 season, it's been pretty mediocre and that's because of the on-field product.

When Michigan State is a contender, you'd be hard-pressed to find 15 stadiums tougher to play in throughout college football.

Let's hope this toughest places to play ranking improves in next year's game.
