The Moneyball Pro-Am has been a great opportunity for fans to attend throughout the summer to get to watch a little basketball action. It has long been a great place for Michigan State basketball fans to get their first look at the new players for the upcoming season.
That will once again be the case on June 24.
The Spartans' 2025-26 stars will once again be playing in the Moneyball Pro-Am. The event is now in its 20th year. The event officially began in 2004, when Moneyball Sportswear founder Desmond Ferguson wanted to give back to the Lansing area by hosting a summer basketball showcase.
The rosters are officially out yet, but one thing that always is great about Moneyball is getting to see which of the Spartans will be paired with each other across the six teams. Moneyball has always seen some impressive moments from Spartan players.
There was the times Drew Neitzel lit up the score board, to the couple of summers of the Miles Bridges dunk fests. This year's group will be once again fun to watch. Especially the likes of Coen Carr who has been slamming down huge dunks during Moneyball the past two years.
Now a senior Jaxon Kohler will continue to try and push the record book for scoring in Moneyball. It was no secret last summer that Kohler was out to put up some huge numbers. It feels like when Nick Ward was lighting up the scoreboard.
No matter how the rosters shake out. Don't miss out on checking out the Spartan players at Moneyball all throughout the summer. It's going to be a great chance to see the new guys up close, like freshman Cam Ward and Jordan Scott.
Or perhaps we will get a good look at what transfers Trey Fort, Kaleb Glenn, and Divine Ugochukwu are bringing to the table. I can't wait to see how all the guys look this summer.
