Michigan State basketball is back in action on Monday evening as the Spartans take over Maui. They'll be facing a Colorado team that sits at 4-0 on the season and won't exactly be a pushover despite not coming into the year with many expectations.

Both teams have some similar stats through the first couple weeks of the season as Colorado averages a littler over 84 points per game to Michigan State's 83. The Buffaloes average close to 43 rebounds per game while Michigan State is at 42. The difference here is Colorado's shooting percentage which is around 50 whereas Michigan State is shooting 46 percent.

On top of that, Colorado is making about 40 percent of its shots from deep which is concerning since Michigan State is under 30 percent on the season.

Vegas believes that the Spartans will come out with a win on Monday night, but it's not going to be as comfortable as some might think.

What do the final odds look like?

Note: Odds courtesy of DraftKings on Monday, Nov. 25.

Line: Michigan State -7.5
Over/Under: 145.5
Moneyline: Michigan State -265 | Colorado +215

The line opened at 5.5 in favor of Michigan State but it's up to 7.5. The Spartans are the comfortable favorites in this one, but it's not going to be a cakewalk, by any means.

Michigan State has struggled over the past two games against Bowling Green and Samford, but it's only a matter of time before the threes start dropping and the offense plays to its potential.

So what happens on Monday? I'm going with a Michigan State win and cover. The Spartans will find their stroke from distance and vibes will be high for the green and white in Hawaii. They'll get off to another slow start but then take a six-point lead into the half before cruising to a 10-point win. Jaden Akins has yet another monster game.

Final Score: Michigan State 78, Colorado 68
