Michigan State has officially announced its 2025 Hall of Fame class and there are some legendary names being celebrated.
Mark Dantonio was the most notable name to be named to the Spartans' 2025 Hall of Fame class and it's long overdue. He spent about 15 years in East Lansing, leading the football program to heights it hadn't seen since the 1960s and he's going to go down as a top-two head coach in program history for what he did from 2007-2019.
According to Michigan State Athletics' official X account, Dantonio will headline the 2025 Hall of Fame class and he will be joined by five other Spartan legends.

Dantonio is the most notable name on the list, but five other sports were represented by legends as well.
The men's basketball program was represented by Sam Vincent who is one of the top-10 all-time leading scorers in school history with 1,851 points. He has been on that list for 40 years now and it feels like he, too, is overdue to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The former All-American and elite scorer spent some time in the NBA (wearing No. 11 with the Orlando Magic like Jase Richardson).
Men's soccer is represented by Tony Keyes. He played for the program back in 19966 through 1968 and he's second all-time in points and first in goals scored with 56.
Kori Moster represents the volleyball program, playing from 2011-14 and was a three-time All-American, two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, and three-time All-Big Ten selection.
Carolina Powers is representing the women's golf program, playing from 2009-13 and she finished as the school's all-time leader in scoring average (74.26) which is now No. 7 in the record books. She was a three-time honorable mention All-American and former Big Ten Player of the Year.
Lastly, the wrestling program is represented by Nick Simmons who was with the program two decades ago and he's just the 11th Spartan wrestler to join the Hall of Fame. After suffering 12 losses during his redshirt freshman season, he finished his career 109-8. He was 138-20 overall.
Overall, great class and the headliner is arguably the best we've seen in some time. Dantonio deserves this more than anyone.
