Watching Makhi Frazier break 100 rushing yards in his first career start on Friday night felt special. For one, he looked like a breakout star in the backfield, and two, the offensive line looked better than it had in years.
Frazier was impressive, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and he was gashing the Broncos every time he touched the ball. He showed a ton of patience, but also, the line was getting a great push and opening more lanes than we've seen in years.
The second-year running back lived up to the preseason hype, getting his first start and turning it into a (lately) rare 100-yard game on the ground. We haven't seen a running back barely break a sweat and run for 100 yards in the green and white since Kenneth Walker III. That's how impressive the offensive line was on Friday night.
And Frazier agreed. He actually gave a fantastic quote regarding the offensive line's depth and effectiveness, no matter who is on the field.
Makhi Frazier: "We don't notice it" when there are new offensive linemen in. "They all come in and execute."

Jonathan Smith said earlier this month that the offensive line is about 9-10 deep when it comes to players battling for starting jobs. That means that about 9-10 guys are playing at a high enough level in the trenches that the running backs don't even realize when the backups are in. They feel like all of these guys come in and execute when they get a chance.
We definitely saw that on Friday night. The offensive line was executing to perfection on run plays, but that was a different story in pass protection.
If the line can figure it out in pass protection, this unit is going to become a major strength.
