One of the best Michigan State players from the Mark Dantonio era is getting set to be featured in a Netflix documentary this summer.

In about two weeks, Kirk Cousins will be starring in one of the hottest new shows of the summer as "Quarterback" is coming out with Season 2 on July 8.

If the show sounds familiar, it's probably because it was one of the top shows on Netflix last summer and it also featured Cousins in Season 1. The former Michigan State star was a member of the Minnesota Vikings for the first season and now he'll be followed as a member of the Atlanta Falcons in Season 2, the show just announced on Monday.

Joe Burrow, Kirk Cousins, and Jared Goff will be the featured quarterbacks in Season 2, just a year after Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota starred in the documentary -- Cousins was there, too. This season figures to have plenty of excitement as Burrow experienced a horrible start to the season with the Bengals, sitting at 4-8 through 12 games. Goff led the Lions to their best regular season in history before losing to Washington in the playoffs at home.

As for Cousins, he lost his starting job to rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. after the Falcons shocked him by drafting the Washington star after he inked a huge contract.

This season figures to have all the drama and we'll see some highs and lows from Cousins as his season got off to a hot start before he fizzled out as Penix's backup.

If you have Netflix, tune in on July 8 for the new season featured the Spartan.
