Although he spent just one year with Michigan State, Kay'ron Lynch-Adams quickly became a fan favorite. He ran hard and made fans fall in love with his style of play at running back.
Lynch-Adams shared backfield duties with Nate Carter who just signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent. Carter spent two years with Michigan State, hoping to become that next Kenneth Walker III-level transfer at running back in East Lansing. While he had the potential, he was limited by poor offensive line play.
Lynch-Adams, too, was limited by that same line in East Lansing in his one year at Michigan State in 2024 and he still managed to average 4.9 yards per rush.
Shortly after the draft, Lynch-Adams signed with the Carolina Panthers.

After beginning his career at Rutgers, Lynch-Adams was buried on the depth chart and rushed for just 320 yards and two touchdowns over two years. He then transferred to UMass to prove himself and he ended his career with the Minutemen in 2023 with over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns on 4.9 yards per touch. He transferred to Michigan State to prove himself once again, totaling 649 yards and two scores.
Lynch-Adams led the Spartans in rushing when he was expected to be a backup option to Carter and once again proved himself worthy of touches.
Now he'll get that opportunity once again (as he's no stranger to it) with the Carolina Panthers. He will have his work cut out as Chuba Hubbard is the projected starter there with Trevor Etienne, Rico Dowdle, and Jonathon Brooks backing him up. That's a potentially loaded backfield.
Nothing that Lynch-Adams hasn't dealt with before.
