What a horrible April 1 it has been for Michigan State basketball. First, Tre Holloman announced that he would be entering the transfer portal. Then Gehrig Normand entered the portal. Next, rumors swirled about Coen Carr, too. And now, it looks like Jase Richardson is announcing his departure from Michigan State in his own way.

Although the latter two scenarios are not set in stone yet, it feels like Richardson's departure is more likely than anything else to happen today.

And no, these are not April Fool's jokes -- I wish they were.

Richardson said after the Auburn loss on Sunday that he didn't know what his decision would be and after seeing his Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon, it feels like his mind might be made up.

The replies from Coen Carr and Jaden Akins also make it seem like he's moving on, too.

Could this all just be an end-of-season post about being sad the year is over and nothing more or is the hint at a decision? To be fair, there are more pictures than just this one of him walking down the tunnel looking sad, but this is the one that sticks out.

We can't get too ahead of ourselves and run with things before they're official, especially since it is April 1, but this does feel eerily like a goodbye post.

Or maybe he's deciding to return and that's why Holloman made the decision to leave because he wouldn't be guaranteed a spot in the starting lineup again.

There's so much speculation going on right now, but Spartan Twitter is going through it.
