If you grew up a Michigan State fan, you’re probably way too used to hearing “can’t read, can’t write” and other fifth grade insults directed at the education level in East Lansing from Michigan fans who couldn’t get into either school.
Rarely do Michigan graduates use those insults because they have enough brains to realize that Michigan State is one of the best public universities in America with some elite programs.
Sometimes there are Michigan alums and former athletes who try to poke fun at Michigan State but rarely is it about education.
Unless, of course, your name is Jalen Rose.
The outspoken former Michigan star who was a member of the Fab Five is known for taking shots at Michigan State much like his football counterpart who’s also on TV talking about the sport he played, Desmond Howard. Michigan State fans have heard all the “little brother” insults and it honestly don’t faze them anymore.
“Doctor” Jalen Rose decided to spend his Monday this week trying to talk trash about Michigan State’s education and it backfired immediately — and embarrassingly. His education insult included a typo. Probably the worst tweet to not read over 10 times to ensure it’s correct.
Why go to Michigan State? Can get into Michigan. Hail.

”Why go to Michigan State? Can get into Michigan. Hail.”
Make that make sense. Why go to Michigan State because Spartans can also get into Michigan? That’s obviously not what he meant but it’s unfortunate (not) that he’s going to get dogged for a typo on the worst possible tweet.
It’s even more embarrassing that he would try to take a shot at Michigan State education while not even holding a degree from Michigan. All-around insane shot fired and it backfired right in his face.
Hate to see it. Actually, no, this is a much-deserved backfire.
Jalen Rose is showing some insecurity
Why would a graduate of the University of Maryland Global Campus take this type of shot at Michigan State fans/alumni/students? It wreaks of insecurity.
It’s why most Michigan fans who talk trash about education do so. They feel like they’re superior in some way but they’re actually entirely insecure and they’re projecting that insecurity onto others. It’s a rough way to live but this is nothing new for Jalen. He’s always been this way with Michigan State and that’s just too bad.
Spartan fans don’t think about him at all until he spouts off on something “little brother” related or apparently about Michigan State’s education level. And yet he can’t seem to avoid embarrassing himself.
Let this be a lesson to Michigan fans who didn’t graduate from the university talking trash about Michigan State’s education. It makes you look bad every single time.
